August 3rd, 2015 – TDA and the stakeholders of the weapon industry in Malaysia, represented by the users, industry players, related government agencies, academia and public research institutes had gathered in a one-day workshop to discuss the needs, directions and a way forward for the weapon industry in Malaysia, and eventually to formulate the ICP Strategic Document (ISD) for the upcoming ICP activities related to the government’s acquisition of weapon systems.

This document will be used in formulating the strategies and actions to further enhance and develop local weapon industry, and consequently be able to complement the aspiration of self-sustainability of the national defense and security.
