The procurement of five (5) additional PC-7 MKII Turbo Trainer Aircrafts for Royal Malaysian Air Force (RMAF) has been made by the Ministry of Defence (MINDEF). Where the procurement value amounted RM 138.46 million, Pilatus are required to mainly focusing on proprietary know-how transfer, development of maintenance and through life support capabilities on the aircraft fleet, assistance in market access and industrial participation and human capital development.

20 Feb 2016 – TDA representative has been invited to witness the last milestone of Offset Project No. 3 which is Propeller MRO Capability Establishment for Offset Programme: PILATUS PC-7 MKII Aircraft for RMAF, located at AIROD Sdn Bhd in Subang, Selangor. The last milestone, which is Hartzell Assessment to AIROD facility involved a technical personnel from Hartzell US. Beside the assessment, representative from PILATUS, Ms. Valentina Spinelli also summarized to all representatives on the all activities completed under OP3.
